thinkin again about the secret more interesting version of the seska arc where they find out she’s a cardassian and have to actually deal with that for a while. and like ideally this happens further in so she’s actually like…a valued crew member who maybe has made a significant contribution to trying to get them back to the alpha quadrant faster, even if it’s potentially just for her own selfish ends. like she was planning to betray half the crew and for all they know she could betray all of them if it would serve her interests BUT she hasn’t actually technically done that, just infiltrated the maquis, which tuvok also did, so what do you do with her? and maybe she’s formed real bonds with the crew after being in forced proximity for so long so maybe she wouldn’t betray them, but she also hid being a cardassian for years so how can they trust her? like idk it just seems like there are more interesting things they could’ve done than “she was shady as hell from the start and immediately betrayed them”

finally finished my harley restyle! this is my first proper restyle (outside of just adjustments) that i've done and i'm pretty happy with how she turned out! i really didn't like her with long hair and i wanted to lean more into the punk look with some scene-inspired styling for the hair

i used nail art beads for her eyebrow and bridge piercings, a small jump ring i cut in half for the lip piercing, and attached with tacky glue

maizuru and milsiril are my favorite fucked up dungeon meshi mother figures

#dungeon meshi #maizuru #milsiril #my post #both were involved in some kind of highly skilled group (espionage/ninja work and the canaries)#maizuru and milsiril both have some aspect that makes their relationship with their sort of son innately complicated.\#maizuru has been having and affair and milsiril has biases towards short lived races #both dote heavily on them but milsiril does it more clearly in an overprotective way #their sons have complicated emotions towards them. and they’re right for that #lets see… toshiro always eats the food maizuru makes due to the love in its preparation. he doesn’t seem to have a relationship with his mok #*mom #so he was very close to maizuru #but after finding out she and his dad was having an affair he closed off from her. maizuru still heavily dotes on him however #maizuru also invented a spell to scare his child self into returning to her #and trained ninja techniques into him (I believe?)#and milsiril (though she did train him) didn’t like the idea of kabru going into dangerous dungeons #she ended up coddling him in that regard. he doesn’t know how to do household chores (but I doubt toshiro knows either LMAO)#(he probably has servants or maizuru who do it for him)#but in fighting specifically:#milsiril also trained kabru in sword fighting but unlike maizuru’s training it’s not very useful in the dungeon #now back to food:#unlike maizuru’s food the elven foods milsiril gave kabru weren’t as well received #that has to do with the different culture he’s from though #he thinks of his birth mom’s food more and had a stringer relationship with her #*stronger #despite some issues kabru says that he’s grateful for her as his foster mom (iirc)#I imagine toshiro’s probably the same way even if he wouldn’t admit it (BECAUSE MAIZURU IS FUCKING HIS DAD???)#toshiro doesn’t feel close to any of his family so his biggest connections as a kid probably would’ve been maizuru and hien.#kabru has milsiril and rin and all anyone could ever want but would never want to return to #anyways. end of essay. tldr: milfs are messy

Right so it's definitely canon that César, the white horse from The Profeta likes Christine. She hand feeds him on the regular and he recognizes her and is happy to see her when Erik puts her on his back.

We can also assume (given that Erik was able to lead him off with apparent ease) that César, the white horse from The Profeta trusts and likes Erik as well; as much (or almost as much) as Christine.

So let's imagine for a moment Erik and Christine doing the age old "let's see who the pet likes better" game standing on opposite ends of the room with César in the middle and both trying to get César to come to them at the same time and hims don't know what to do.

(He finally chooses Christine, and Erik is both dejected but also can't fault him for going to Christine because of course he should because Christine is the best. In fact erik might have been offended if César didn't pick Christine.)
